We are writing to inform you about an upcoming hardware upgrade for VIN’s main server. As some of the hardware components have become outdated, this upgrade is essential to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Upgrade Details:
- Date: 18/01/2025 (Saturday)
- Time: 12:00 AM (Midnight) GMT+8 (Singapore Time)
- Estimated Duration: 48–72 hours
Important:
During upgrading server may cause server down time, to ensure the safety of your data, we strongly recommend that you back up your files before the upgrade begins.
What Does This Mean for You?
1. Will the upgrade affect pricing?
- Existing customers: Your current pricing will remain unchanged.
- New customers: Pricing will reflect the updated rates, effective February 5th, 2025.
2. Will my server IP address change?
- No, your VPS IP address will remain the same.
3. What if I don’t back up my data?
- While we maintain backups for all customers, we recommend creating your own backup as an additional safeguard in case of unforeseen issues.
